LUBE TECHNICIAN

As an Lube Technician you will perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters
• Perform vehicle inspection to identify necessary repairs.
• Provide labor and time estimates for all repair work.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for service repairs.
• Participate in on-going company and manufacturing training and education programs, to stay current and abreast of changing technology.
• Provide and maintain a basic inventory of required hand tools.

Qualifications:
• Prior automotive repair experience preferred
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid in-state driver's license
• Pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving record
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen

What you should have:
•5+ years of strong automotive diagnostic experience at a shop or dealer, ability to work independently, organized and clean
•Have a high level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focused attitude
•Valid driver's license, DMV record in good standing, clean background check, and reliable transportation
•Basic automotive tools to allow you to work on customers' cars
•Ability to diagnose and repair to specifications -- brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, and suspension
•A/C repair ability and ASE certifications or technical school is a plus

Human Resources checks in with all new hires at 1 Week, 1 Month and then follows up with the Supervisors that a 90-day review has been completed on the new hire. This process was implemented to help ensure each employees success with Carr.
